Norwex has some amazing products.
The laundry detergent is one of my favorite products for laundry, but there are other uses for the Norwex laundry detergent that you might not have thought about. It is also a great all-purpose cleaner that fights grime incredibly well.
I’ve been using Norwex cleaning products for a while now, and the laundry detergent continues to be one of my favorites.
While it’s especially great for all of Norwexs’ microfiber, I use it as my main laundry detergent for all our clothes. It has no fragrance, so your clothes just smell clean.
We use dugout water for laundry and other non-drinking water needs. I love it, it’s great to be able to use water as we need without thinking about the cost of hauling it in.
However, a downside is the hardness of our water. It’s not always the same, but as the water level gets lower in our dugout, our water starts being more concentrated in hard water deposits.
That means my front load washer doesn’t clean as well anymore. Through this all, the Norwex laundry detergent has done a remarkable job of cleaning our clothes well.
But there are other uses for it as well. I use it almost daily around our home.
Here are ten ways to use the Norwex Laundry Detergent.

Clean Your Vent Hood Above Your Stove
Any screens that you can lie in water are easy to clean this way.
Even window screens would work well. Fill your sink or bathtub with warm water, add a tbsp of the laundry detergent and let them soak for 15-20 minutes.
Remove Stains From Patio Blinds
I have fabric patio blinds that can get very dirty and dusty over time. They aren’t easy to clean because of how awkward they are. I remove mine about once a year and let them soak in the bathtub, in warm water.
A half scoop of the Norwex Laundry Detergent is enough to get them clean. Brush them well with a floor brush, or agitate them periodically. Rinse them well in cool water and then hang them to dry.
Clean Bathtub
I clean my bathtub every week, and what I do is put an inch or 2 of warm water into the bottom of my tub. Add a tbsp of powdered laundry detergent.
Then with a cloth, wash the walls of your shower/tub with water. Rinse and wipe down. Good as new.

Wash Your Floor
The Norwex Laundry Detergent is also a powerful floor cleaner. Just make sure that you don’t use too much because you will get streaks on your floor.
Add about a tbsp of detergent to your wash bucket. You will be amazed at how dirty your water will get.
Wash Greasy Mechanic Hands
The Norwex Ultra Power Plus Laundry Detergent has a gently abrasive action, which helps to clean greasy hands. Even grease which comes from oil and grime will wash away with this.

Soak and Clean Oven Racks in a Bathtub
Oven racks are an awkward thing to clean. Soaking them in your bathtub in warm water plus detergent will help to get them clean quickly and efficiently.
Clean Dirty Walls, and Baseboards
I only wash my walls about once every 1-2 years, but when I do, I really like using this as my all-purpose cleaner. It doesn’t leave a strong scent, and it really cleans.
Clean Boat
Boats can get really dirty from the inside, especially when you have that textured flooring.
Taking a brush, along with a bucket of warm water and laundry detergent, will transform your boat from the inside.
Clean the interior of your car
Same as with boats, this laundry detergent also makes a great all-purpose cleaner for the inside of your car.
Stain Remover
Stains on clothes? Add a scoop of laundry powder into a bucket of water, and soak the stained clothes in there for a day or 2.
The powerful stain-removing action of this laundry detergent is unbeatable.

As with all cleaners, please test in a hidden spot before using. I use the Laundry Detergent all over my home and have never had a problem, but you might want to be careful with delicate things.
The Norwex Laundry Detergent is my most widely used Norwex product. It has many more uses than just for standard laundry.
It works well in top-loading and front-loading washers and fights grime everywhere.
